Horse Towing Canal Freight by Kevin Parrish. This painting shows a canal boat exiting the Braunston basin on the Northamptonshire - Warwickshire county boundary. Today it is a large marina, but was historically important when the canals were used for goods transport. The barge depicted bears the name of Fellows Moreton and Claydon, an important carrier operating from this basin. |
